SAMPLE COMPONENTS FOR LEADERSHIP AND CORPORATE
TRAININGS
INITIATIVE GAMES
Initiative games are a series of games which challenge participants
to work together to accomplish specific tasks. Instructors focus on
enhancing group communication and cooperation while students get to
know one another through dynamic activities. Each initiative begins
with an introduction and concludes with a debriefing, which are designed
to identify various leadership styles and help students overcome problems
within their group.
TRUST ACTIVITIES
Trust is a vital component to team building and group dynamics. Instructors
encourage participants to start building trust within their group through
hands on spotting and catching activities. As trust develops the perceived
risk increases and the group becomes increasingly more responsible for
each others’ physical and emotional safety.
LOW CHALLENGE ACTIVITIES
These activities are mainly designed for individual development. Students
challenge themselves through varies balance and body awareness activities
while being spotted and supported by the group. Instructors encourage
participants to push themselves beyond their perceived limits, which
helps develop better self-confidence and trust among their peers.
GROUP DISCUSSION
Group sessions allow participants and instructors to discuss leadership
styles, communication skills, importance of cooperation, and the value
of trust. Any group problems are addressed and discussed through an
encouraging and emotionally safe format. Participants are encouraged
to apply the skills they learn in our programs to their daily lives.
